Giacomo Erani holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 

As a former Design Engineer and Project Leader, he contributed to and led the development and certification of implantable orthopedic devices, including hip and knee systems, on behalf of leading companies in the industry, now successfully in use.

 

Currently, Giacomo is part of TÜV SÜD, serving as an authorized Lead Auditor for ISO 13485, MDR, and MDSAP, as well as a Technical Documentation Assessor specializing in orthopedic and dental devices.

 

Passionate about this discipline, he also teaches Risk Management for Medical Devices for TÜV Akademie Italy.
